“Answer the Call” GBEF Phone-A-Thon February 22-25, 2010
The Foundation will hold its 7th annual Phone-A-Thon in February! Funds raised are used to support literacy programs in every elementary school in the district. Student callers from our three high schools will once again man the phones to call district parents and community members asking for a donation to this worthwhile cause. Principal For a Day
On October 29, 2009, community leaders were paired with Gresham-Barlow School District Principals in a unique experience that gave a peek inside the daily responsibilties of a school leader.
“Home for the Holidays”
On Saturday, November 21, 2009 community members, sponsors and donors celebrated the start of the holiday season by supporting GBEF through a holiday auction at Club Paesano. Our 2009 auction included a wide variety of items including: home decor, vacation getaways, an autographed Blazer basketball, beautiful, holiday tablescapes, and so much more!
