Grant Application
The Gresham-Barlow Education Foundation is currently accepting small grant applications for 2011.
The Gresham-Barlow Education Foundation welcomes grant applications from district teachers, administrators, program directors, and parent support groups.
The Gresham-Barlow Education Foundation accepts grant applications for projects that enrich learning and encourage classroom innovation.
We encourage each school to actively participate in the grant program. All grants will be considered equally without regard to school or grade level.
Dates to Remember
- Small grants process begins March 1, 2011
- Closing date for submissions March 30, 2011
- Principals must rank and submit requests by April 11, 2011
- GBEF small grants committee will complete review by April 23, 2011
- Awarded grants will be announced by May 2, 2011
- Funds must be expended by October 31, 2011. If not expended by that date, the funds will be returned to the GBEF for other purposes
Applications will only be accepted on this website
The project must:
- Be in alignment with the Foundation’s core values. (see below)
- Be innovative, engaging, and enhance learning.
- Benefit more than a few students.
- Not include paid staff time or travel by students or staff members.
Your application must:
- Describe the project clearly with stated goals and objectives.
- Be $2500.00 or less
- Have a financial outline that is well presented and clearly tied to the program activities.
You must:
- Define all acronyms used, and avoid educational jargon.
- Not mention your school by name in the narrative sections.
